Kenneth Sivertsen sitt betillingsverk til 1000-års jubileet for kristninga av Norge i 1995, vart bannlyst frå feiringa pga kostymene! Det var Carte Blanche som dansa til musikken, og Jo Strømgren var ein av dansarane som hadde ein stor, erigert, grøn penis. Forestillinga vart likevel satt opp i Grieghallen nokre veker seinare. 

I mars 2008 vart Brytningstid satt opp igjen, denne gongen i bømlo kulturhus, og med Bømlo Musikallaug stod som produsent. Hilde Hoff Andersen tok initiativ og var koreograf. Ho fekk med seg Nina Meldahl Olsen på regi, og saman med dansarane og aktørane jobba dei i ei sjeldan kreativ ideveksling. Det var kjempespennande å jobbe kostymer til denne forestillinga. Ã… tolke stemningar ut fra musikken, finne fargar i rytmane, istadenfor i eit skrive manuskript. 

Kenneth Sivertsens composition requested for the 1000th aniversary of Norways christianity in 1995, was banned from the celebration because of the provocative costumes. The dance-company Carte Blanche, with dancer Jo Strømgren, wore a huge, erigated, green penis. The show was staged some weeks later in Grieghallen in Bergen. 

In march 2008 “Brytningstid” was staged again, this time in Bømlo Culture-house, and with Bømlo Musikallaug as producer. Hilde Hoff Andersen took the initiative, and was the coreographer. she had Nina Meldahl Olsen join in the project as director, and together with the dancers, they through a rare, creative process, the show took form. It was such a thrill to work with the costumes on this show. Finding moods in the music, colors in the rythms, instead of a written manuscript.
